This no-fail pizza recipe comes out cheesy, with a perfect crunchy crust, every time.



Best enjoyed with some red wine!

  • 20 oz pizza dough

  •  Sprinkle of Flour

  • Olive oil

  • ¾ cup of pizza sauce

  • 1 cup of mozzarella

  • ¼ cup of freshly grated parmesan cheese

  • Vegetables of your choice: red and yellow peppers, mushrooms, red onion (optional)

  • Basil garnish (optional)

  1. Preheat cast iron pizza pan in the oven on 500°

  2. Sprinkle surface with flour

  3. Roll out dough until it’s about 10-12 inches

  4. Carefully remove the pizza pan from the oven (it will be extremely hot)

  5. Coat the pan with a light coating of olive oil

  6. Place the rolled out dough in the pan pushing the sides up against the edge

  7. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough

  8. Sprinkle ¾ cup of mozzarella and parmesan cheese

  9. Top with vegetables of your choice

  10. Bake on 500° for 15-20 minutes (depending on you preference)

  11. Sprinkle ¼ cup mozzarella and bake for another 2-3 minutes

  12. Garnish with basil (optional)
